Overclocking memory will play a bigger role in overall speed, and a 3200mhz frequency shouldn't strain a Ryzen 2000.

I only have a 2666 RAM but I'll try 3200. Also, I didn't crash on 4.2. I'll stop if I'm ahead lol.

Using an OC on the CPU boosts gameplay by 20-40 FPS, while RAM helps maintain smoother frames. I’ve tested this thoroughly for my own understanding. The biggest variance would be around 2133mhz—which is a significant drop from the baseline. His CPU promises up to 2933mhz on memory controller, but I recommend sticking to those specs regardless of timing. Anything beyond that risks instability, especially during tuning phases. After optimization, focus on RAM and timing for consistent performance.
