I purchased an ASRock B660M PG Riptide board with a clock generator and an i5-12400F. Now I’m thinking about upgrading to something faster. The main concern is whether I can overclock the i5-13600K or i5-14600K using BCLK on this motherboard.

They prevented bclk oc access from non-K CPUs, which means no. Even if possible, the 13th and 14th generation models aren't good options for purchasing used since Intel's default settings caused damage, and replacing them isn't cost-effective.

I’m deciding to go for a K-series chip because it won’t be expensive. The real concern is if it’s actually feasible to achieve this.

It requires an unlocked BIOS, which currently exists only for the MSI B660 Mortar Max and is available only during its 13th generation launch—implying no further updates thereafter. If a normal solution exists, this kind of unlocked BIOS wouldn't be necessary.
