So I'm using a prebuilt Corsair PC with an RTX 3070. My LG C4 OLED is connected via HDMI 2.1 to the GPU, while my Asus XG27UCDMG OLED (4K, 240hz) uses DP 1.4 with a DP cable. I also have an LG Ultragear 1080p monitor that maxes out at 165hz on DP. The issue is that when I try to enable DP 1.4 on the Asus monitor (with DSC), the monitor just cuts off the signal until I switch back to DP 1.2. It doesn't matter what cable I use—it always drops. My C4 and the small portable monitor are working fine. The Asus monitor can't reach 4K or even 120hz, and when I switch to 1440p it drops to 60hz. I can only get 120hz if I change to 4K in display settings. I suspect the problem is with DP 1.2 on the OSD, but that's making things worse. My PC feels really slow whenever I try this. I just bought a DP to HDMI active adapter, hoping it arrives soon. Also, I haven't updated the firmware on the Asus monitor yet—I don’t have a thumb drive handy. It should arrive Monday.
