They referred to it as an octa-core, actually more like a quad-core with some doubled components and HT. They settled the case, losing it. They compensated a few million dollars, which should be about 30-50 dollars per person after legal fees, depending on how many people take out their shares. This deal applies only to people in California and those who bought it directly from AMD's site. Use the free funds to upgrade your setup! (or try other things, that’s not my area of expertise)

I should join this. I have an FX-8150. It seems one of those cards just arrived at my door. Apparently, even if you bought only 5 CPUs, you don’t need proof of purchase to get in. ...lots of people are going to misuse that...
