Twitch streams at the second hour. Playing games feels like the real action? In MMOs, I lean toward ranged DPS, though I’m okay with melee. I can’t just tank or heal to protect others. Right now, I’m focusing on boosting all jobs to their maximum levels in FFXIV. It’s a cool challenge—leveling tank and healer roles without playing the usual way.
What makes this player act so strange in a TDM game? And why does someone say they play aim_botz way too much in CSGO?
Previously I played a wide range of roles—rifler, AWPer, entry fragger, and more—but back then I was actually strong. Now I mainly stick to being a rifler and doing entry fragging. In fact, I’ve stopped playing CS:GO for about ten years now. It just got too much for me.
In Guild Wars 2 I switch between roamer, duelist, support and healer roles. I don’t want to focus on damage control. In Dow 2 I lead a Force Commander. It’s an RTS where commanders/armies fight one-on-one, but the FC adds melee impact and buffs. Plus, modern titles often simplify things for players, stripping depth so it feels easy but hard to master. As long as there are choices, I won’t play those simplistic games.
