I just clicked through from the game to my browser by mistake, and I ended up on a copy of my desktop without any apps running. I used the Windows button plus arrow keys. I don’t know what caused this or how to get back to it.

Windows 10 offers a multi-desktop option allowing you to generate several virtual desktops. You can transition between them using WIN+TAB or CTRL+WIN+LEFT/RIGHT.

Thank you for bringing it up. I wasn’t aware of this before, which is why I was surprised. Can I disable this function?

Open the Task View from the task bar icon, then at the top, hide the additional desktop by clicking the "X" that appears when you hover over it.
