Hello everyone, my issue seems unusual. I recently upgraded my motherboard (Aorus Pro AX X570 Rev 1.1) and PSU (Corsair Hx1200w Platinum). After finishing my build, I found that turning it on, off, and then back quickly causes the Windows to boot improperly—screen stays black, even without showing BIOS. The red lights keep flashing between RAM and BIOS until I shut everything down again. Could you help figure out what might be wrong? My PC specs are: CPU 5900X, cooler Noctua NH-D15, M.2 Pro AX X570 (previously B550 Master). It used to run on an R750 PSU from Corsair and a B550 Master before. The new setup has a single rail and multiple rail buttons; it was set to multiple initially but switched to single after powering up. Also, it’s connected to a stabilizer, not directly on the wall. Any thoughts?
Really, I’d have offered you mine used at a lower price... It’s the RAM that wasn’t mentioned in your specifications. Make sure it’s installed properly and follows the motherboard instructions. Reset CMOS. Yes, but reverting to multi-mode would provide stronger protection. No.
I tried a different approach. Since my PC was off, I switched off the PSU switch and then powered it up quickly. The PC started normally, so it doesn’t seem like the PSU is the issue. I’m not sure if it’s the RAM, because normally with RAM problems the screen would stay black.
