Most of the searches I saw were similar to "just press the button to switch to local account you retard." However, there isn't a button available.

Are you using a company computer? If not, review your local group policy settings at this location: Group Policy Management Editor window, expand Computer Configuration > Policies > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options. Perhaps the rule for blocking MS accounts is configured for a specific reason.
