I also considered that the 2 GB RAM shouldn't cause issues, but the 750 Ti is beyond my budget since I'll need to upgrade my PSU. Thanks for the tip—Sherlock has been through three plays already!
You probably don’t need a bigger power supply. The 750ti uses very little power and doesn’t require an auxiliary power source. Adding two more GB of DDR2 memory and the 750ti will get you optimal performance.
A 30 dollar price tag for a 560 TI offers excellent value, matching the performance of a 750 TI which costs roughly $80 used. Just ensure you have the PSU to drive it—minimum power draw is around 260 watts, and the 560 TI uses about 500W as well. The Q6600 should work fine since it shares the same engine as Fallout 3, and my rig handled that just well. EDIT: Keep in mind the 560 TI is an older system and may not support DX12 (though it's still only $30).
