The motherboard's official support page offers most available drivers. Standard NVIDIA drivers are recommended for the GPU.

Realtek HD Audio drivers are also worth considering. They significantly improve sound quality, especially based on personal experience. Similar to others, many components can be omitted if desired.

Usually I avoid the chipset drivers from the motherboard maker. They can work sometimes but often lead to annoying micro stutters. For your RTX 4060, use nvidia.com drivers, pick the right settings for your OS and GPU, and download the newest Game Ready version.

It looks like the new motherboard caused the previous one to fail after I reinstalled the OS.

I've discovered how I've been missing this information all along. It turns out AMD and Intel actually created the chipset drivers themselves. I used to only check the motherboard manufacturer's site and never realized that the chipset designers might publish their own. It's surprising how much you can learn every day, but still.

These forums are really helpful, even for experts. I don’t need machines to fix everything, so I’m here sharing what I’ve learned along the way.
