I need to explore alternative options since running an Ethernet cable isn’t feasible right now. I’m considering a powerful router or an extender to extend the signal further. With a 400MB plan from Bright House/Spectrum, I’m open to investing in a more robust device if it means avoiding future conduit work. Let me know if you’d like more details or assistance with the setup.

Heard on a podcast about Netgear Orbi mesh routers being great. You can purchase an outdoor unit to extend coverage outside, and add another in your living room for strong Wi-Fi. Each unit likely includes Ethernet ports, which could later be used for an Ethernet backup connection in the conduit you mentioned. I haven’t owned one before, so double-check the specs yourself. The Orbi is definitely on my wish list! Hope this helps.

Upgrade your setup with Ubiquity. It could open doors to a new career path. I’ve got two units for routing network traffic to my garage. They’re currently unplugged since the project is paused, but they perform well. I’d like two of them—each includes a POE injector—and connect one to the main system. You don’t need everything I use; I’m just really enthusiastic.
