You need to configure network security settings on your iPhone.
I aimed to configure a firewall or DNS settings on your router to prevent Apple Update servers. Despite repeatedly canceling updates, they still installed and I lost my jailbreak. How can I stop Apple Update servers from accessing my router? Should I use a network sniffer for this task?
I’d configure a firewall or monitoring tool to track the URLs during updates. Then implement a Pi-hole (DNS on a Pi) and add those URLs to it. You could even search for the URL via a search engine to block it before the next update. It might also be possible to retrieve the URL from Apple, though I’d advise allowing it through your firewall instead of blocking it, to avoid their refusal. Good luck!
Begin cutting ties with iPhones right away. They’ll likely switch to their own network if you keep refusing them, or they might simply render your device unusable. If jailbreaking doesn’t block the update, just trying to cut off their signal won’t help. Why would an iPhone avoid updating when it knows doing so would destroy its unique features? You might find ways to interfere, but if they can connect at all, you’re powerless.
