You have a decent setup for gaming and school work. The GTX 580 should handle League of Legends well, especially with enough RAM and a decent CPU. Make sure your power supply can handle the GPU load and consider a good cooling solution for stability.

Of course for League of Legends, but I believe opting for an i3 4160 or i3 4170 could be a smarter pick for other titles. Grab one if you can, otherwise stick with the Pentium.
