Hello, Your concern is clear. You reside in a spacious 4-bedroom home in the UK, facing consistent WiFi challenges. The Netgear D6200 doesn’t provide reliable coverage in the kitchen or two bedrooms, even though it reaches decent speeds elsewhere. As device usage grows—potentially up to 15 gadgets—and your space is about 66m² with similar levels on both floors—routers are often placed in hard-to-reach spots. You need a solution that offers strong range, durability (preferably WiFi 6), and supports many devices without frequent upgrades. You’re budget-conscious but open to investing a few hundred pounds if necessary. Thanks for reaching out; I’m here to help you find the right setup as soon as possible.

You might want a premium Nighthawk or a mesh network setup. I appreciate my Ubiquiti Amplifi HD and Google’s mesh system. Wi-Fi 6 isn’t essential—it’s still emerging, but current standards can handle it. Still, this option works if you need it... https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Nighthawk...s9dHJ1ZQ==

Updated: Purchased one Asus ZenWiFi AX (XT8) to see how it performs. Initial tests showed promising speeds, but now I'm evaluating its reliability. There was occasional dropout between rooms before, which I haven't seen again. The device seems to lose strength when facing the whiskey cabinet—router on the opposite side. It might be worth adjusting the setup to boost the signal.

It appears there are pipes or electrical wiring inside the wall, and the signals are connecting properly. I hope your router functions well, especially since your home size doesn’t require a mesh setup. One router should suffice.
