FX-9590 is an outdated CPU from another time...even a Ryzen 3 quad-core or an i3-8100 would outperform it in games...probably sell it to the buyer and upgrade your setup. These are solid improvements over what you have, capable of handling a GTX 980ti at full capacity and easily reaching 60 FPS at 1080p. I once ran an overclocked 980ti and hit 90 FPS+ at 1440p ultra in Battlefield 1. If you can afford it, an i5-8400 is a better choice overall. Grab a budget Z370 board and 16GB of RAM optimized for value.
