Upgrade the Lenovo Y50 with a 512 GB SSD while replacing its single HDD. The challenge is limited storage space and no official CDs from Lenovo. You can reinstall Windows 8.1 using the same key as the original unit. An external USB3.0 HDD enclosure might offer a solution.

You can obtain the ISO file directly from the Microsoft website. You'll also need the genuine serial number, typically found on a label near your notebook.

Avoid sourcing it through TPB. Opt for your current key during setup, generate a bootable USB, then apply the link to refresh media.
