Hey there! I picked up some games during SSS and ended up building a PC to run them. Here’s what I got: Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Dark Souls PTDE, Skyrim with all DLC, Fallout 1-2, Tactics, New Vegas (DLC), Hotline Miami, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Mirror’s Edge, Papers & Please, Portal 1 & 2, Sim City 4 Deluxe, Trine 2, Original Wasteland, and Witcher 1 & 2. The total came to about $89.99. I put in $90 overall, so I’m left with just a penny in my wallet—lol!

Looking back, Bethesda games always stood out. The ES titles and FO3 and New Vegas took up a lot of my time on consoles. I re-bought Skyrim and Fallout because I missed the DLC content and want to enjoy it at 1080p, not scaled down like on PS3.

The biggest issue with console games wasn’t the graphics—it was the long load times. I’d skip picking up gear or exploring details just to avoid waiting 10 seconds for a room map to load. I grabbed an M500 to speed things up and can’t wait to test how fast I’ll navigate the maps now!

Some other games that really stuck with me: Star Wars, Knights of the Old Republic (1&2), Dragon Age Origins, World of Xeen (M&M 5 & 6), Diablo I & II, old RTS titles like Warcraft and StarCraft, Super Mario Land of the Seven Stars RPG on SNES, and all the Zelda games including Ocarina of Time.

What should we start with first? Let me know your picks! Thanks for the ideas!

If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely give Mass Effect a go. The initial version isn’t the top experience, but once you finish, you can transfer your character or decisions to the sequel and savor the compelling narrative with significantly improved gameplay. Absolutely worth playing!

I was really intrigued by the stlye of this game, I might really get into it! I really like classic RPG, I'm sure I won't be dissapointed! Sounds good, the reviews I read on steam gave me a similar impression! I've heard this before, the gameplay must really kick ass! Oh man that is awesome that you can move the charachter build to the 2nd game, that fires me up! Okay so everyone has mostly suggested different games, I guess I can't really go wrong. Thanks for the recommendations everybody!

The order includes: 1.BG (1 & 2), 2.Witcher (1 & 2), and all three of Mass Effect are highly recommended RPGs.
