I've chosen to purchase the Ryzen 3950x and wanted to check if my B450 A Pro Max can handle it. It would be a short-term solution, right? I think it could work. The board seems to have a similar VRM design as the Tomahawk.

The site claims compatibility with third-generation components. The board was made before the processor design was finalized. Microsoft doesn’t regularly refresh the B450 mobile module information.
