For expert assistance, visit www.bleepingcomputer.com. Their team offers strong knowledge in malware detection. It feels similar to this site, but they focus mainly on malware topics.

Remove the storage device, link it to another computer, and use malwarebytes to check for threats. Begin by turning off autoplay and running a scan in safe mode without internet.

There are tools referred to as key locators. I don’t recall their exact name, but they’re programs designed to gather information about your system, including your Windows key.

They might also locate the adobe keys since I have CS4 installed and it was volume licensed by the school, meaning I don’t possess the code. It’s not a bad approach. I think I’ll connect it to my budget SATA to USB hub that I acquired from a Seagate Backup Plus.

I used it once at work and it detected all the licenses for a computer. It was a customer's machine and it looked like it had everything, though I’m not sure what was installed. I believe it might be able to locate it. Let me attempt to identify the program.
