Saints Row 3 Remaster remains available for free on Epic today. Consider it or not, you might enjoy MORDHAU or Chivalry for some variety in that FPS experience. Forge your path with Fallen Order as well!

I’m suggesting a few of my favorite titles you can enjoy right now on your GTX 1050Ti or Ryzen 5 1600. In multiplayer/co-op you’ll find Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Black Mesa, Half Life 2, Fallout series, Portal 2, and Portal Stories: Mel. For third-person singleplayer/co-op, check out Watch Dogs 2 and Saints Row 2. Strategic titles include Spore, Faster Than Light, and Civilization V. I haven’t included Garry’s Mod, GTA V, Grand Theft Auto 4, Halo, Terraria, Subnautica, or War Thunder. If you’re familiar with GTA V, FiveM might be a good option. Portal 2 offers distinct singleplayer and co-op modes. Most of these games are already installed and working.

Here are two games that really caught my eye:

- Dragons Dogma [Third Person]
Immerse yourself in a medieval world filled with magic, dragons, and giant creatures. You control one character while managing a permanent companion you craft yourself. The game offers a mix of party play with up to four players, plus solo options. It’s engaging enough to keep you coming back, though it leans toward replay value once you’ve conquered the main story. The graphics are decent, and the story has some depth, but it’s not overly long. You’ll find yourself enjoying the variety of challenges and the creative freedom to build your team.

- Performance is top-notch, making it a smooth experience overall. The mechanics are intuitive and the combat feels responsive. I especially loved how you could use the leash to toss enemies into new situations—explosives, cacti, or even just a quick kick. The combos and headshots made every fight exciting. Just keep in mind that turning off these features isn’t an option if you’re into the action. The game’s length is short, which limits replay value after finishing it, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a quick, fun session.

You might consider Halo MCC. This version contains Halo Reach, Halo CE/Anniversary, Halo 2/CE Anniversary, Halo 3 Offline, and Halo 4.

It's mostly solo experiences: Tomb Raider (2012) * Rise Of The Tomb Raider * Tomb Raider Anniversary Resident Evil Remake HD **Resident Evil 2 Remake **Resident Evil 3 Remake **Monster Hunter World *** *offer online options, but the focus is on single-player, short sessions, yet highly polished ***. It's a classic Resident Evil style, you either love it or dislike it, especially the first two titles are among the greatest ever. *** You can play alone, but it's designed for groups (up to four players). It feels like a return to Resident Evil, with similar combat but set in mysterious ancient times. The monsters are dragons, mystical beings, or even giant pigs... the variety is impressive and teamwork adds a fresh twist compared to typical competitive games.

Cheap perks for Half-Life 2, easy to play on any device. Most players in HL2DM come from Eastern Europe.

If you're looking a fps game, maybe give Insurgency: Sandstorm a shot? Games plenty of fun with an active community. As for a singleplayer game, Yakuza 0 could be up your alley.

I struggle to play for extended periods beyond benchmarking and reviewing visuals. I'm quite engaged with Guardians of the Galaxy (chapter 13). Likely the final title I completed fully was Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Nioh 2 offers a solid experience for fans of hack and slash and Team Ninja style visuals. It stands out with its unique art direction compared to most games, and the combat feels enjoyable. The animations are decent but could be improved. There are some great mods available. For my personal achievements, the Nintendo WiiU version and Fatal Frame 5 are standouts—both atmospheric and memorable. The camera shooter mechanic is especially impressive, letting you engage with ghosts in a fresh way. It’s a bit eerie and different from other titles, making it quite unique. A few things to note: it’s an older thread, but the atmosphere and gameplay still shine.
