I have a Ryzen 7 3700X with 2x8 GB Corsair RAM at 3000 MHz. I also own a 16 GB Goodram stick running at 2400 MHz. Right now I use dual-channel only, but I'm curious about adding the 16 GB stick. Would this affect performance significantly? Also, where should I install the new RAM sticks? I've already tried placing them in slots A1 and B1 with Corsair, but the RAM downclocks to 2133 MHz when I switch to Windows. Should I keep the Corsair sticks in dual channel and add the 16 GB in slot A1 or B1? Thanks for your assistance.
