After sharing my profile publicly, a comment appeared on my Steam page. I clicked the seemingly trustworthy Imgur link, but Steam’s browser blocked me. Shortly after, a new driver needed to download automatically, forcing a shutdown while I ran malwarebytes and average scans. This seems unlikely by coincidence. What files should I investigate or remove? Also, nice of you sharing your experience—your 30 bucks were well spent!
Have you lost everything? If yes, reach out to Steam support and describe the situation. They usually respond within about a week and will return all items once you confirm. Afterward, you’ll need to handle things on your own. This advice comes from my experience with items being stolen.
I haven't made any changes. My email and password are still the same. I'm trying to ensure everything is okay.
