I just completed assembling my first PC and faced some challenges. When I pressed start, the machine powered on but only one of the three front case fans was active. The initial display message indicates a CPU cooler error, specifically linking the CPU cooler to the CPU fan header—though I have an AIO setup, it’s connected to the AIO header. I’m unsure how to interpret or examine the BIOS settings. On the main screen, it shows 1208MB of memory but doesn’t mention the SSD or RAM details.
The system specifications are still being clarified. It seems the CPU cooler issue might stem from unplugged components on the board, which could be fixed by adjusting BIOS settings—though locating the exact spot requires knowing the specific motherboard model. The fans appear to be missing power, and the memory details seem unclear.
I set up my ROG Strix Z590-E with WiFi 6E and the listed components. The motherboard is Cooler Master CMP 510, paired with an Intel i5 11th gen GSKILZ Ripjaw v series chipset. RAM is Crucial 1000GB, a 2.5-inch SSD, and an EVGA 600W bronze power supply. It’s not modular, but the ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 cooler Master Liquid ML240 has RGB lighting. The front fans work fine, though only one spins at a time. The power cable connections look mismatched—some ends don’t align properly with headers. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I left it as is. A photo of the setup is attached. My fan assembly feels slightly loose, which might be related.
It has the 4 pin holes but there’s a weird notch on it. I haven’t found anything in any videos or manuals about it
