I'm really confused. I thought I was connecting a USB-C cable to the motherboard, but instead I connected it to a USB port. My computer shut down right away and then started again. Now when I try to boot, Windows tells me I need to make recovery media, which I'm doing right now. What went wrong?! Error code 0xc0000225. The USB port isn't damaged, but the startup repair didn't help.
Check the BIOS on the USB Bridge. Does Windows start at all? Attempt a safe boot to confirm your system still functions. Clear the CMOS, then revert BIOS settings to their original configuration.
