I own the original Windows 8.1 copy and haven’t received the update to Windows 10 yet. Everyone says it might arrive in about a week after release, but it’s been months. I notice the icon on the taskbar at the bottom, but nothing has changed. I signed up before launch and got the email confirmation. Locals have already installed Windows 10 weeks ago—should I be concerned? What should I do if I don’t see it soon? Is this just me or are others still waiting?

It seems like you're suggesting that the current version isn't necessary. Would you like to proceed with the existing setup?

The process involves Windows downloading Windows 10, after which you should open the installer and proceed with installation. It seems straightforward—just confirm it works.

Simply download it. That's all I did.
