You have an MSI B560M Pro-E but it's not booting.
I recently upgraded from my DDR3 1333Mhz system to a new DDR4 3200 model, acquiring the motherboard, CPU, fan, and RAM. After installing everything, I tried to boot but nothing happened. I observed the GPU sending power signals correctly, yet the CPU fan, GPU fans, and power supply didn’t activate. My main concern is whether I should update the BIOS. I’m certain both the board and CPU are still functional, and the 600W PS should handle my current setup (RX 570 4GB and i3 10100F).
If the PSU functions correctly, the problem likely stems from a faulty connection—such as a short circuit caused by excessive current from a disconnected fan or a malfunction in the power input—rather than an issue with the board itself.
The power button works and is connected according to the manual, so it doesn’t seem like that’s the problem. It might be related to a faulty BIOS. As mentioned earlier, it does power on my GPU but fails to start properly. The person I spoke with had the same issue with this exact motherboard model and resolved it by reinstalling the BIOS. I’m not sure of all the specifics, but I’ll attempt to reinstall the BIOS and check if it helps.
