You achieved the results you expected with the right setup. The cooler and fan helped keep temperatures manageable, and adjusting the CPU settings allowed you to stay within safe limits during testing.

In that region avoiding operation at 100°C merely misses out on performance gains because voltage instability at that temperature only becomes a problem after exceeding 1.3V. CPUs are built to handle maximum temperatures for years, making degradation irrelevant.

You're asking about how many LGA1200 boards you have and whether they're suitable for Rocket Lake. What's your setup?

MSI z590 pro wifi I adjusted it to 4.5ghz and 125watt TDP pl1 because once it hits above 4.5 it draws 180watts and reaches 100°C, but 125 stays below 70°C. I had a 10400f with 6 cores. I can wait until I get a better air cooler since hyper 212 is 125 TDP not 225 watts. At 4.5 at 120 watts TDP pl1, it stays under 70°C after an hour of prime95.
