I'm trying to figure out what you're referring to. For the Archer C1200 I need to check the page and made some updates so it displays the WDS Bridging options. Regarding the regional settings, I think it's best to ask my ISP provider for help, but it feels a bit frustrating. Should I contact them directly or test it myself first? I'm still learning about networking and just experimenting.

Bridge functionality is set on the gateway equipment, such as the Alcatel Lucent. WDS bridge differs from this setup. Locating the right documentation for this device can be challenging. Incorrect configuration may cause loss of internet access. Your internet service provider should be able to advise you on the proper procedure since they manage the network infrastructure. Connect a PC directly to the Alcatel Lucent using Ethernet, then execute the ipconfig /all command. Locate the gateway IP address and enter it into your browser.

Here are the standard login details. For Archer device setup, switch the operation mode to AP. Install the most recent firmware first, as older versions might not support this mode. Assign a static LAN IP within the same subnet as the internet gateway, using the same subnet mask. Allocate DNS and gateway IPs from the Alcatel Lucent to match those of the gateway device. Failing to do this before changing the mode will result in losing administrative control over the Archer devices and may require searching the DHCP list on the Alcatel Lucent for the correct IP address.

For the Archer C1200, there aren't obvious direct settings available, though an online guide exists at the provided link. After updating to the latest firmware, it still doesn't display correctly—possibly needing the mentioned steps. The process seems simple overall, except for configuring DNS and gateway. You might be using this setup on a different device than the Alcatel Lucent model.

At the Archers, the DNS/gateway IP will match the internal LAN IP of Alcatel Lucent. Confirm? Checked the site?

Hmm can't seem to find, I'll check it our later Well, you see I can only use the one from my country's, so it's https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/downl.../#Firmware Unless my dad is fine with bricking the warranty, in which I think he would agree with

I believe you're referring to the Archer C1200 and Archer C6 models. Are you confirming these details?

These are the DNS configurations on the WAN side, which will be turned off after switching to AP mode. The IP-related details apply to the LAN network. You can replicate these settings by turning off NAT, setting the connection type to static IP under Internet, assigning the IPs in this range, and then disabling the DHCP server on the LAN side.

You're asking about the meaning of something, but it's unclear what you're referring to. Are you unsure if it should be posted as-is or needs adjustment for Archers or Arcent? Let me know so I can help clarify!

Begin with the basics. Your task is to determine the LAN IP configurations for the Alcatel Lucent device. Access the fiber gateway, go to the LAN settings, and capture a screenshot of the displayed information. These are the LAN-side IP addresses, which you can use without revealing any unique identifiers.

To check the connection, you need to connect your laptop or PC to the Alcatel device, run ipconfig /all, and note the IP address. Then enter it into a browser. You can still access it while plugged into the Archer C1200 in your room. It’s not necessary to move your device to another room for this purpose. Just make sure you’re careful since you’re young and prone to internet issues.
