I received a fresh Christmas gift – a Corsair iCue 220t. While moving my components, I damaged a pin on my old motherboard. I replaced it with a new one, but the system won’t boot properly. The GPU is receiving power, yet the CPU seems unresponsive. My setup includes: Ryzen 5 3600, ROG Strix rx570, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB at 320MHz, MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard, EVGA 500BQ PSU, and an Inland Professional 480GB SSD.

The device with "power sw" is your power switch. Refer to your motherboard's guide for the correct placement.

If it fails, use the older board. The pin you broke is part of the USB 3 header, which isn't crucial unless you require the front USB 3 connections.

I attempted the previous board after the issue and the outcome remained unchanged. No CPU detected, only the GPU lights activated. If you're convinced it could help, I'll give another try. Edit: I placed the old board into the new case right away without taking out the CPU, and upon moving to the new board I checked the CPU—there was no visible damage.

Both components might be faulty. Ensure there are no bent pins on the CPU and verify that all power cables are securely connected.
