I didn’t go into much detail, but I was attempting to repaste my CPU and when I removed it, it pulled the whole unit out, leaving thermal paste under the CPU and socket. After spending three hours cleaning, it still won’t boot, though the fans are spinning. Also, just a note—without the heatsink, it seems to prevent booting, and there’s no screen showing anything.
