Your setup includes an i5 4670K, 1070 GTX, and 16 GB RAM. You're asking about which system settings matter most for your gaming experience—especially in titles like CS:GO or DOTA at 1920x1080 resolution. Some features such as anti-aliasing (AA) and similar options might seem unnecessary but can still impact performance depending on the game. What you use and why often depends on your priorities, whether you value smooth visuals, frame rates, or stability.

Hey, I experiment with a nice visual theme. Some titles such as Friday 13th work well, and I use Vsync while playing. Dota and CS are played at full capacity.

I frequently use maximum configurations. Hairwork can sometimes look poor. For CS GO, I gather a lot of skins and keep them at full settings even though they’re mostly low-float designs. If a game doesn’t hit 30fps, I lower certain options like motion blur and FXAA.

I also own a GTX 1070 and stream at 1080p. I’m curious about the reason behind disabling features—I usually focus on adjusting configuration files and installing mods to enhance gameplay beyond the default “ultra” settings.

At 1080 I completely support using AA. For me, it’s what delivers the highest image quality, making everything look smooth and free of rough edges.

I eliminate any effects that distort clarity such as motion blur or shallow depth of field. For focus, I prioritize sharpness, image detail, and viewing range. Beyond these preferences, I’m okay reducing or disabling anything else if necessary.

I usually keep settings low and disable all effects, but I play in 1440p with high frames and 1.5x super sampling or resolution scaling. It enhances visuals while keeping performance smooth. I’ve trained at my age, so I prefer straightforward, clear options to stay competitive against younger opponents.
