Hello, a few months ago I accidentally reset my PC by removing everything instead of just the files, including mouse and keyboard drivers. Because I couldn’t use the mouse or keyboard, I asked a computer expert to copy Windows onto a USB drive and reinstall it using BIOS. The issue now is that I suspect I selected the wrong version—my original was Windows Home, but the copy was Windows Pro. After fixing the machine, my computer still asks me to activate Windows. I’m unsure if this is normal or if I should leave it as it is with the inactive version. Is there a solution I can try?

Consider resetting it once more if your friend hasn’t fully cleared everything, especially the recovery partition on the HDD. Perhaps...
