I cleaned my laptop myself because it was overheating and making loud fan noises. While taking out the cooling tunnel, I accidentally broke a small component (see photo). The machine is still working, but I’m worried about what part was damaged and if it could cause more problems later. What should I do next?
Visit a phone or computer repair shop and pay them to fix it again. It might be a temperature sensor or battery protection component that’s stopped working because it no longer receives a signal. Other parts could also be affected, but this is the most likely issue. I don’t have time to look up the exact part based on its markings.
