Lordran offers a wide array of captivating locations and fascinating personalities. But which character resonated most with you? For me, it was Solaire—his deep connection to his own sun made him unaware of its presence... Were you the one destined for the undead? Siegmeyer from Catarina stood out because each time you saved him, he felt more hollow and insignificant. When you discovered him and his daughter at Ash Lake, he became hollow himself, and his daughter had to kill him once more. Knight Artorias was another strong presence; forced by Lord Gwyn, he had to guard the abyss from Pygmy threats, staying in Oolacile to finish his mission while protecting his companion (Sif). Great Gray Wolf Sif’s story is equally poignant—he died trying to shield you from the abyss and protect him, yet later you see him struggling to obtain the Abyss Walker Ring that weakened him. His friend, Knight Artorias.
Honestly, I’m not sure. Sif reminds me a bit because I’ve been a dog owner for a while, and that limp during the boss fight made me want to quit the game. From the story, he’s still Sif. Particularly after the DLC. People mentioned this before too. But I’d add him to the list as well—he’s literally a blind archer who lost his way of life after all the dragons died. Except for that, most folks seem like they’re not worth much. Especially Gwyn.
It hurts to think about how Sif really attempted to protect you from the void, yet imagine how things felt a year later when he saw you struggling with the Abyss Walker's ring. His companion, Knight Artorias.
