You don’t need a USB stick or DVD drive; a spare HDD can work as a bootable Windows 8 installer. Good luck!

I installed my iPod as a Windows installer. For additional storage, you can dual boot with another HDD. I also have a WD Green drive ready for heavy overclocking tasks on Windows 7.
