I possess the board from an HP workstation wx4400 (model 0A68h). It features the i975x chipset, which supports the core 2 Quad Q6600, though the BIOS on the board itself doesn’t. Currently, I only have a C2D e4300 with 1.8GHz, which is significantly slower compared to a capable 3.0GHz C2Q Q6600. Anyone know if it’s possible to flash a BIOS with support (there’s a BIOS update option in the BIOS)? If helpful, it would be BIOS version 768D7 v2.03.
