CPU alone versus overall system power consumption? Unlikely the CPU is handling 650W by itself. Stock Turbo settings cap performance at around 181W. HWiNFO data indicated peak usage near 270W, which aligns with thermal limits—expected. @Bob All your P-Cores and E-Cores are experiencing significant throttling. As soon as a Cinebench test begins, the P-Core speed drops rapidly—from 5.8 GHz to 4.4 GHz within seconds, then further to 4.2 GHz, 3.9 GHz, and finally 3.7 GHz.

he was processing 325 to around 500 tasks, likely on a CPU. it slowed down significantly—i5 at 1.5 GHz versus chromebooks running at 2 GHz.

I'm drawing 700 watts from the CPU now.

It worked smoothly at 5.5 kW but then dropped to 700W after that.
