Hello, I currently have an old laptop drive as my Windows boot drive. It's very slow now. I recently bought an SSD with 1TB and I want to move Windows to that drive so my PC doesn't lag when I press the Windows key. Could you please help? I've used a lot of Windows but haven't really followed instructions before. Sorry if I made any grammar or spelling mistakes.

You could simply reinstall Windows if needed.

You might need to transfer all files from your current storage to the new one using a cloning utility, or you could start over by installing Windows on the new drive. In either scenario, other programs will also need to be reinstalled.

It's strongly suggested to perform a full fresh reinstall. While cloning is possible, a new installation yields the optimal outcome. Cloning can introduce elements that may cause performance issues, especially if the storage drive is already sluggish.
