i have an amd processor athlon 5350 apu and a strong gpu gt 1030 aero msi. my cpu is causing a bottleneck, and when i tried to check the bios for overclocking options it showed none. my motherboard is am1i and i know there’s no overclocking support there, but the asus version does allow it. since i don’t have the budget for a new cpu, replacement, or a better asus mobo, i found a program called amd overdrive that can handle overclocking without needing bios changes. i’m wondering if it’s safe to use it and whether it would help me reach my goal of upgrading to 60 fps.

Software-only overclocking is a questionable idea, often creating more issues than it resolves.
