I currently possess this unit, the Crucial Ballistix 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200. I noticed the price of DDR4 RAM has fallen significantly, so I considered purchasing another 16GB kit but couldn’t locate it anywhere new. Used units are priced similarly to brand-new ones from other manufacturers. Would it be better to invest in Micron E-dies or combine my current setup with other brands like Kingston, G-Skill, Corsair, Teamgroup? Or should I opt for a 2x16GB configuration? My specifications include a Ryzen 5 5600 and an Asus TUF B550m-plus.

They might not function well together even if they share the same brand and model. At a minimum, XMP settings could cause issues, though they usually work without it. The problem is often resolved by manually increasing your RAM's speed. For a more certain solution, consider purchasing a 2x16GB upgrade and replacing your old unit.
