You can make a Steam game private by disabling its public settings and sharing it only with you.
Apparently there is a 'new' way to hide Steam games you have purchased that is supposed to: In general, marking a game as private will cause the game to appear to other users on the Steam platform as if you did not own it at all. So it won't show up in your activity or that you are playing the game, let alone purchased it. According to this: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/vi...#:~:text=- You can mark a game,in the game properties dialog. it is supposed to be found under You can mark a game as private from the "Manage" submenu on the game itself. This menu is available from right-clicking on a game or clicking the gear icon on the game details page. Additionally, it can be found under the "Privacy" settings in the game properties dialog. However, there is no private option for some reason on my Steam. See screenshot below. (The 'Hide this game' option just hides it in my game library and doesn't actually hide my activity or the fact that I have purchased it.) Does anyone know why?
