Find the cat5e wall plugs in the different rooms of the two-story houses. There are blue and white ones available. Once you have them, set up the cables accordingly for Ethernet connection.

I require additional details about the direction and purpose. Could you clarify where this is going and what action you're aiming for?

I moved to various floors of the two-story houses, finding blue and white Cat5e wall plugs. I’ve been experiencing Wi-Fi problems and am considering switching to Ethernet.

I don't have access to that information. Could you clarify where you'd like me to check?

You would link each device to a switch, ensuring all room ports can talk to one another. Add a router to the switch and connect it to the internet, so every port gains online access. Following proper structured cabling, everything would flow through a patch panel to the switch, though direct connections to the switch are also fine.

These items must connect to a switch. The switch then links to your router.

The router located in another room can you link the switch to it using a Cat5e jack from that space? Updated August 13, 2020 by ACE.0F.F001S asked another query for skipp.

Be honest with yourself. Get a 10-12 port switch and connect all of them. Also plug the router into the switch. Everything should work now.
