I discovered an x399 Taichi motherboard for $50, but it seems to have numerous damaged pins requiring a new socket. Intel LGA sockets are readily available, and I’ve managed to replace several faulty ones successfully. However, I’m struggling to locate a compatible replacement socket. Your help would be greatly appreciated—it would make for an engaging project!

It would be simpler to locate a defective mainboard with a suitable socket for identification

Are you referring to LGA 4049? I haven't seen any of it myself. Don't waste your time or money on the board unless you have the CPU and plan to purchase it.
