Running Windows 10 on Volume 1 or preventing the startup window from appearing during boot is a common setup. Adjust settings in the Startup folder to manage which programs launch automatically.

Use Windows search for "partition" and remove the Windows partition you don’t need. All information on that drive will be wiped; double-check your choice before proceeding (avoid deleting the drive you rely on for your operating system).

If you prefer another operating system without viewing the menu, navigate to Control Panel → All Control Panel Items → System. On the left, select "Advanced system settings." In the "Startup and Recovery" area, click "Settings..." Choose your desired OS as the default and uncheck the box labeled "Time to display list of operating systems."

Adjusted settings via msconfig. Discovered it's located on drive D, but the Windows installation partition isn't visible for deletion.

Yes, the installation appears to have been deleted, yet the system believes it remains present.
