Look for reliable guides or forums that list module heights. For the NH-D15, check official datasheets or community resources. If you need a high-speed RAM, consider ordering a compatible RAM stick instead of a higher RAM module.

Review several online store listings. Amazon displays specs like RAM kit sizes. It’s likely these details are sourced elsewhere and should be verified.

You assess it by examining images taken from normal perspectives. The ram measures roughly 133 mm across (about 127 mm from start to finish). Open the image in software like Paint and count the pixels; this gives a measurement in millimeters. Count the pixels vertically to gauge the height of the stick. The standard dimensions are around 133.5 x 31.4 mm or 5.25" x 1.23", as shown in the Amazon listing above. The listed size is approximately 1.54" tall and 1.75" wide, with the width slightly larger since it includes the heat sink on top of the clips rather than just the circuit board.

Choose standard RAM sticks with the typical profile found in budget bare DIMMs. You won’t see RGB lighting under a D15, and most regular-sized DIMMs should work just fine. I’m using a Corsair LPX DDR4 under an NH-D15, which is perfect. Make sure your case has some extra room above the CPU cooler, since you won’t be able to fully lower the fan. (In the unlikely event, you could switch the fan to the opposite side for balance.) Regarding DDR5 DIMMs, they might be problematic because they seem designed taller for voltage and cooling purposes.
