You should be able to achieve around 30 FPS at 1080p low settings in flight sim with your setup.

Perhaps around 30, though I don't know how they score on test systems.

It looks like many individuals are stepping forward to clarify that this game isn’t the destructive force it’s often portrayed as, and they’re experiencing solid frame rates—possibly even 1080p. There are some discussions on the initial sections of the content.

I’ve looked into it and I wouldn’t be surprised if my device isn’t even on the lowest requirements.

I noticed someone mentioning they got it to run but their setup didn't support it. Do you have Game Pass? If so, you can download it and test it out—no damage done, and you avoid paying full price for a game that might not work. You could also try a month of Game Pass to see if it functions before deciding whether to renew or buy Flight Simulator directly. That's my approach.

I don’t own a game pass because I don’t have an Xbox and didn’t feel the need. Based on what I noticed, I think I have an i5-3450 with a minimum requirement around a 4th generation i5.

You can obtain a game pass on PC using a collection of more than 100 titles to enjoy... Flight Simulator is included among them. For a modest amount—dollars, pounds, or euros—you can sign up for a month, test it out, and decide whether to keep it.

It really varies based on your location and the level of detail. Recently, I flew over the Nevada desert at 70 to 80 frames per second, then later hovered above New York City at 25 to 30 fps. The resolution was 1440p, 1080i, and frame rate reached 8700k.
