Check the specifications carefully. With an Intel Core i5 4690K, 8GB RAM, and a 4.8GHz processor, you should be able to run modern AAA titles at higher settings. Aim for around 60–70 FPS on medium to high settings, depending on the game. If you're unsure, start with lower difficulty and gradually increase. Your friend likely optimized it well for performance.

It's a disappointment, but it's accurate.

Performance reached its limit at 60 frames per second. Once you hit that point, your system feels too powerful. Upgrading to 1080p or better would be a good next step.

All details at that quality are quite clear. Mostly everything looks sharp at 1080p as well.

I’m confused about PC hardware, but my friend made a gaming PC for $1000. He probably thought it was a good deal. You’re not alone in thinking it’s strange—trust me, it can be confusing!

That's what makes us unique... I'm often labeled a troll when I mention being a gamer, but my GPU is twice the price of my graphics card, right? Everyone has their own reasons for picking the gear they do.
