GoG, I've already responded about it and included more from my earlier message. It's really helpful.
Steam was created by Valve as an online gaming platform, becoming the go-to choice much like Amazon dominates e-commerce. Its design was proprietary, allowing EA games to be sold through their own system, which helped them earn more per sale. Ubisoft followed a similar approach with Uplay, though they also made many titles available on Steam. I’d choose Steam if I had to. It stands out as the most popular and widely adopted among the three. Use the proprietary software only when necessary, otherwise go with the standard.
Staying on Steam is the top choice because UPlay offers limited value with the AC and FarCry titles already available there. BTW, I mainly use Origin for Battlefield.
