You might find an install file with a different name than "install.exe." It could be hidden in a more complex folder structure or accessed through autorun settings.
Do you remember this being a 2005 release? I’d pay $10 for it on Steam or GOG if you really want to play it. You’ll need to patch it for modern systems, even if you manage to install from the original disks.
