Is this thing even worth it? The board isn’t the best and the x470 looks pretty inadequate. It’s a dead setup. Invest in a top-tier (NON M) or a pro 4 or a pro vdh mX. For around 800 bucks, you can get a 5600xt. This card seems overpriced and has a poor cooler. Don’t listen to it.

1. Subpart 2 – You don’t need 700W. Consider a cx550 if you have space for an MWE gold or a tx550m. P400a Meshify c or the lan cool II work well.

PCPartPicker list includes CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, graphics card, case, power supply, and total cost. Prices reflect Amazon UK rates with shipping and taxes applied. Details were compiled on July 12, 2020 at 18:42 BST. The amount slightly exceeds the listed value, likely due to additional fees or variations.

If you're just playing games, it might make sense to invest in a new Ryzen quadcore and upgrade your graphics card. You could also consider cheaper RAM, as the PSU seems a bit overkill with 700w. The 2.5TB storage is probably not essential, and @GoldenLag has done it really well!

You might reduce expenses on memory by choosing an affordable option like this one: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/QBrY...c16fb3k216. It won't affect performance much since latency stays similar, and you can invest the saved cost in a stronger GPU.

A solid alternative motherboard could be the MSI MEG or ASUS PRIME Z590. The RTX 2060 offers strong performance, especially for gaming, but it may not match the latest Ryzen 7000 chips in raw power. Consider your budget and needs before deciding.
